Dirk studied mathematics and works as a computer scientist in business intelligence as a SAS platform administrator via TRplus, a sister company of PASSwerk. He and the majority of his family have long been diagnosed with ASD. He has been active for about 15 years at the Flemish Autism Association and the PASS groups. He is a member of the experiential expertise working group within the Flemish Advisory Council on Handicap (NOOZO) and within LAVA he monitors policy participation.
